Processing & Finishing Capabilities
Every piece of glass can be further processed to your exact requirements. The options below are all available, include your processing needs in your quote request and we'll price everything together.
Edge Finishing
Every cut edge is finished to suit your requirements and the intended application. Options include:
- Flat Polish, smooth, high-gloss finish. Clean and contemporary, the most popular choice.
- Hand seamed, removes sharp edges for safe handling.
- Bevel Edge (up to 25mm), angled border that catches light elegantly.
- Mitre Edge, angled edge for frameless glass joins and decorative corner details.
- CNC / Hand Polish, precision machine-polished finish for shaped and curved edges.
Cutting & Shapes
We cut far more than rectangles. Custom shapes and profiles are quoted per job:
- Straight cuts, simple size reductions to your exact dimensions.
- Complex cuts, multiple angles, step cuts, L-shapes and other profiles.
- Custom shapes, arches, ovals, D-ends, triangles and other freeform shapes.
- Radius corners, from a subtle 2mm safety radius to large decorative curves.
- Template cutting, we can cut to a physical template you supply for perfect site matching.
Holes & Cutouts
Holes for hardware, cutouts for appliances, all drilled and finished before toughening where required:
- Drilled holes, any diameter, for hinges, handles, standoffs, spigots and bolts.
- Half holes, edge notches where a full drill through is not possible.
- Power point cutouts, rectangular openings in splashbacks for GPOs and switches.
- Waterjet cutouts, centre, corner and side cutouts for sinks, rangehoods or custom shapes.
Important: All holes and cutouts in toughened glass must be specified before toughening.
Double Glazing & Toughening
Upgrade standard glass with additional processing for safety and performance:
- Toughening, thermally process compatible glass for AS 1288 compliance.
- Heat soaking, removes panes susceptible to spontaneous breakage.
- DGU assembly, custom glass combinations sealed with chosen spacer size.
- Argon gas fill, enhanced thermal performance over standard air-filled units.
- EVA laminating, custom interlayer colours for decorative laminate glass.

Not at this stage, we offer supply and delivery only. Glass is delivered via specialised glazing vehicles to Melbourne and Sydney.
Yes, but all holes, notches, cutouts and edge work must be specified before toughening. Glass cannot be cut or drilled after the toughening process.
Toughened glass is thermally processed to be stronger and shatters into small blunt pieces if broken. Laminated glass is two panes bonded by an interlayer, so the glass stays together when broken.
We deliver to Melbourne and Sydney metro and outer suburbs on specialised glazing trucks. Standard float and mirror glass typically has a 3 to 5 business day turnaround.
Minimum panel size is 0.3m² for most float, mirror and laminate glass. Minimum charges apply per order rather than per pane.
