Toughened (tempered) mirror
For ultimate peace of mind, especially in gyms, dance studios, and commercial spaces, we offer optional toughened (or tempered). These mirrors are used for enhanced safety and durability, particularly in areas prone to breakage or high traffic. If they break, they shatter into small, blunt pieces rather than sharp shards, minimizing the risk of injury. They are also more resistant to impact, heat, and pressure.
Recommended for: Gyms, public areas, and commercial settings.
Professional Installation Advice
For a secure fit, mirrors should be installed on a flat, clean and dry surface using a specialised mirror adhesive. Never use an acidic cure silicone on mirrors, even if its suitable in bathrooms! You should consider an edge sealant depending on your mirrors location and proximity to the beach.
